I enthuse the importance of equitable design in my process, combining purposeful strategies with a sprinkle of humour.

Hi, I am a British-born Los Angeles-based Interaction Designer. I've been in the creative field most of my life, starting with my first job as a face painter. I was recruited by one of Britain's leaders in animal wrangling for entertainment, and it was in this position, I learned the importance of adaptability. Upon graduating from college, I joined an international touring theatre company. This experience further enforced my love for international communication through the arts. For the last sixteen years, I have continued to work in the education, sales, and consulting fields.

How did I get to interaction design? Well, after becoming the lead educator in my children's lives, I became immersed in online learning programs. As a result, I became aware of the blatant accessibility and design issues unfolding in front of me. Instead of complaining about the lack of equity, I decided to take my life experience and creativity on a new and challenging adventure. I am passionate about accessibility in design and believe all creations should have a little humour and personality.
